The best parts of the tour with ATIE was all the little extra things that you don’t get on the big tours. She always met us with little treats and spirits that really gave you an intimate feeling every day. It was also great not to be seeing all the tourist traps and actually seeing instead the authentic Italy, including the little villages and also what the regions were famous for – and then the best part: eating everything we saw being made (like the mozzorella or the tarralli) fresh! Marena was also very flexible and could change our days according to the weather and what we had planned for that day. I would never go any other way! I give it *****+ (5 star plus)

My trip to Puglia with A True Italian Experience was wonderful. The tour helped to capture the essence of daily life in the region and its unique charm. The places visited, the cuisine experienced, and the people encountered were delightful. The shopping was great and the scenery breathtaking. Days were rich and full but the trip still felt like a vacation without the demands of a “typical tour”. My next trip with A True Italian Experience is booked already!

Marena, You know I think you are wonderful in every way as far as a tour organizer goes. I have traveled a lot and no one has been as thoughtful and “there for you” as you are to your clients. I could never see [other tour companies] going out and buying sleepwear and toothbrushes for people that didn’t get their travel bags! I have made many trips in the last 15 years. Most of my trips were on cruise ships. The last 2 trips that I made were with A True Italian Experience. They were the highlight of my traveling experience.
Marena Lobosco went out of her way to assure that our group enjoyed our experience. Everything was in order from the beginning to the end of our trips. We had no problems at the airport, the reservations at the hotels and restaurants were perfect. Marena took us on some very interesting tours and we also had time to enjoy the beautiful countryside. Even when we had nasty weather she found ways to keep us happy.
I honestly have no negative comments about these trips. The group that went with me on the first trip were happy to go again on the second trip.
